The farmhouse is well appointed with all the equipment you need for a relaxing holiday. The farmhouse easily caters for all ages with plenty of room larger families. The pool is wonderful and was enjoyed by all ages of our party! A car is essential but this will allow you to drive to many of the beautiful hill top Villages, with some fabulous restaurants. There are plenty of lovely beaches nearby as well. This really is a fantastic farmhouse, one you can easily while away the hours, whilst admiring the wonderful Italian countryside! Beautifully finished with everything that you could need. Panoramic views of the surrounding area from the veranda are beautiful, it was lovely to sit out in the evening and just enjoy the scenery. The entire Le Marche region is stunning, lovely little beaches and amazing fish restaurants were the highlight. We really enjoyed a drive into the mountains where we spent the day at a beautiful lake and also went to the Opera Festival in Macerata. The owner communicated very well and ensured that we had a travel cot and high chair as requested. We would love to return to the region and would have no doubt in returning to this property. Property description

Beautifully finished countryhouse, sleeping 8 guests in four en suite bedrooms, with private swimming pool (10x5m)

Super views and a secluded location make this Marche farmhouse the ideal place for a relaxing pool holiday.

Carefully restored in 2009 this stone villa is very well equipped. All four bedrooms are en suite, the pool is a real treasure and the kitchen has all an accomplished chef could need. The fifth bedroom is in a converted outbuilding and has air conditioning.

The wrap around groundfloor portico provides lots of shady space to relax and read, eat long lunches and dinners, or sit back with a glass of something cool and refreshing and marvel at the view.

The property is set in 10 acres of land and is at the end of a white track, ensuring guests total privacy. A small vineyard behind the property provides the owners with several hundred litres of wine every year and to the other side of the property beyond the garden is a small wood.

The property is located close to the lively medieval market town of Mogliano and is only 25 minutes drive to the coast and 45 minutes drive to the Monti Sibillini Mountains.

The national park of the same name boasts some of the highest mountains in the Apennines, with Monte Vettore the highest in the park at 2,476m (8,124 ft) and many others including Sibilla and Priora (both well over 2,000m) which dominate the skyline for miles around.

Wildlife abounds, with a stable wolf population, deer, plenty of wild boar (often on the menu!), porcupines, hares, eagles, falcons and hawks all present in the park.

There is wonderful walking, with footpaths marked and described on maps available in information centres in all the towns and villages in the park. There are also peaks with a truly alpine character, like Monte Bove, whose formidable north face offers climbing for mountaineers.Mogliano is a pretty town with a number of bars and restaurants and one striking claim to fame. The church of Santa Maria Assunta is home to a masterpiece called the Assumption, as is the church, painted by the great Venetian painter Lorenzo Lotto in 1548. 

The property is also close to Petriolo.

Policies & disclaimers

  1. Payment To confirm a booking a deposit of 30% of the total price is required. The balance must then be paid a minimum of four weeks in advance of departure. Cancellation after this date may result in the loss of the whole amount. For late bookings (less than four weeks before departure) the full balance must be paid immediately.   2. Price Guarantee We guarantee to maintain the price of your holiday as agreed between you, the client, and Marche Holiday Homes at the time of receipt of our booking confirmation letter.    3. Booking Please contact us to confirm availability. Once availability is established, to confirm your booking a deposit of 30% of the total price is payable within three days. On receipt of the deposit we will send you booking confirmation which establishes our contract with you. If you cancel before paying the final balance we reserve the right to retain your deposit if we do not find a substitute booking for the same period, same price and same property.   4. Cancellation by us We reserve the right up to four weeks before departure to cancel your booking and in this event will refund all monies paid or offer an alternative holiday. If the alternative holiday is worth less than your original booking, then you will receive a refund of the difference from us.   5. Damage or injury We do not accept liability for damage to property or person.   6. Breakages deposit On arrival a deposit of 250 euros may be required by the owner or keyholder of the property, this information will be in your information pack.   7. Care of property You are responsible that your holiday let is left in the same state of cleanliness and repair as on arrival. Any loss or damage to the property or fixtures and fittings caused by you will be deducted by the owner from your breakages deposit.   8. Price Our prices are usually from Saturday to Saturday and include the cost of electricity, cooking gas, linen and towels. Heating is not included. Some owners, specified in the price list, require a small additional fee for final cleaning. Any discounts offered online are not retrospective and apply only to forward bookings.   9. Complaints In the unlikely event of any problems during your stay, you must report it immediately to the owner or Marche Holiday Homes. We will attempt to resolve the matter immediately but if you remain dissatisfied you must write to us within 14 days of the end of your holiday. A failure to notify us or the owner during the holiday may mean that we will be unable to resolve the dispute after you return home.
